My name is Melissa Neiman and I am a kindergarten teacher for Spotsylvania County Schools. This is my ninth year in kindergarten and it is the only grade level I have ever taught. I am currently working towards my M.Ed as a Literacy Specialist and plan to graduate next spring. I am pursuing a Master's degree as a Literacy Specialist in order to continue my professional growth as an educator as well as to learn innovative and engaging ways to incorporate literacy throughout the curriculum. I enjoyed the learning journey I took throughout the INDT course. Many of the Web2.0 tools I learned about this semester have already been put into practice in my kindergarten classroom.
