I attempted to use LinkedIn to connect with groups of interest to me. I searched for groups that included information about literacy, technology in education, kindergarten, ADHD, and Autism. I did not post to any of the discussion threads in the groups I joined, but I hope to in the future. As far as the connections I made with people, I found myself connecting with many of my close friends through LinkedIn, some of which do not have anything to do with my pedagogical interests. I did connect with a few colleagues and friends within the educational field, though. I would like to learn more about LinkedIn in the future as I was not a member until this semester and am not sure that I thoroughly understand how to make strong connections.
